Injection Molding

Resin pellets are gravity feed into the barrel of the machine from a hopper or loader. The screw is heated via heater bands, and the screw begins to rotate, conveying and melting the pellets into liquid form. It is then injected into the mold with high pressure to fill the mold cavity. Once the plastic is solidified, the mold opens, and the part/s are removed. The process is then repeated.
